FSAP offers comprehensive assessments, brief counseling, case management and assistance with obtaining appropriate referrals through your health plan with an external provider. Program professionals are available to help with a variety of concerns, such as problems in personal and/or work relationships, grief issues, alcohol and drug abuse, and more. What to Expect When You Call or Visit FSAP

When you call for your first appointment at FSAP, the receptionist will ask you some simple questions about your concerns and availability to come in for an appointment. When you report for the first session, you will meet with a professional counselor who will complete an assessment, with your help

Referrals to Community Providers & Resources

The FSAP works from a brief counseling model, therefore the staff of licensed professionals at FSAP often assist faculty and staff members with locating and transitioning to external providers and specialists in the community through the use of their employee health benefits.
