Leadership Guides
The Leadership Guides for Emory University and EMORY HEALTHCARE contain specific information for leaders to work with FSAP on facilitating a direct report referral.
Leadership Consultations FSAP provides confidential consultative services to administrators, managers, supervisors and team leaders about the concerns, behaviors and performance of staff and faculty members. As such, it serves as a resource for sorting through individual performance issues, assisting an individual facing a personal tragedy or unexpected crisis, or providing consultation about when and how to recommend or refer someone (informally or formally) to FSAP.
Fitness-for-Duty Evaluations
FSAP is a resource for assessing whether it is appropriate for an individual to be at work. FSAP professionals are available to coordinate a fitness-for-duty evaluation with an external medical examiner to determine if an individual should be placed on leave from work.
Return to Work Conferences
For individuals who have been on medical leave for more than 5 weeks, FSAP can coordinate a return-to-work conference with the employee and supervisor. This conference will allow a discussion about the needs of both the employee and supervisor to ensure a positive transition back to the worksite.
Coaching for Managers
FSAP provides one-on-one sessions to help managers design a plan to reach professional and personal goals. These sessions can help enhance skills in effective communication, conflict resolution and team leadership.
