For the past three months, she has incorporated more physical activity into her life by walking to work 3 days per week, 3 miles each way, for six miles round trip!
An eighteen-year veteran of Emory, Therese had been trying to find a way to work more movement into her life for years but never could quite find a way that would stick. While on a family vacation to Disney World last fall, she discovered that she walked seven miles in one day without even trying! And, because she was having fun at the time, she didn't even realize that she was also racking up a lot of steps until she looked at her fitness tracker.
