Additional Clinical Services
- Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) – Unexpected crises or critical incidents can occur in the workplace. FSAP can provide on-site services to respond to tragedies in the work unit (e.g., death of a staff member, faculty or student; violence in the workplace; assault of a staff or faculty member on campus). FSAP can provide counseling and support services to reduce the potential negative emotional impact on team members.
- Group Interventions – FSAP offers topic-focused groups for individuals to receive support with others who may be facing a similar challenge.
- Aftercare Recovery Support Group – This group provides support to individuals who may need additional assistance in maintaining their commitment to an active individual alcohol or drug recovery program. Participants must complete a treatment program before participating in this Aftercare Group. Call FSAP at (404) 727-4328 to sign up for or learn more about this program. (Screening interview is required.)
- Grief and Loss Support Group – This six-session group is offered periodically to assist individuals facing the loss of a loved one. The group experience can provide a supportive environment for participants going through the grieving process. Call FSAP at (404) 727-4328 to sign up for or learn more about this program. - Leadership Consultation - FSAP provides confidential consultations to administrators, managers, supervisors and team leaders about the concerns, behaviors and performance of staff and faculty members. As such, it serves as a resource for sorting through performance issues, assisting an individual facing a crisis, or providing consultation about when and how to recommend or refer someone (informally or formally) to FSAP.

Free, confidential services are available to individuals, groups, couples and immediate family members. Appointments with FSAP scheduled during work may be treated and paid as work time.
